startling words…

Jesus responds

see me,

touch me,

know me,

I am flesh

I am bone

They came to recognize

in breaking bread

the gift

before their eyes

once lost

always present.

Peace

be

with

you!

You have heard

and it was written

that Christ would suffer,

die and rise

within three days.

Peace be with you!

Your heart

has been touched

grace will fill you

with unending love

now, called forth

give praise

and witness

to the goodness of God.
